Five students from Navesau Adventist High School in Fiji were admitted to hospital last week after contracting meningococcal disease.
Fiji Mission Health Department director Dr Alipate Vakamocea said the children are recovering well and the majority have been discharged.
Due to the meningococcal outbreak, the school, in Wainibuka, Taileva, was closed early for the Easter break so no-one else was put at risk of contracting the disease.
Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) education director Bev Norman said he expected the school to reopen again sometime this week and that they are working with all the relevant health and education authorities.
