Leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific have reaffirmed their commitment to protecting children and vulnerable people by signing the Statement of Commitment to the Australian National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
Pastor Glenn Townend has been re-elected president of the South Pacific Division.
“I want to say thank you very much for inviting us to be part of 62nd General Conference Session,” he said. “[The PNG 4 Christ program] was a success as far as conversion was concerned—[the] work of nurture is still going on.”
