A week-long leadership training was held in Menyamya District, Papua New Guinea, from April 21 to 26, 2025, bringing together more than 200 delegates from various local churches. The training aimed to equip church leaders with essential skills in spiritual leadership, church administration and community engagement. Organised under the coordination of the district leadership and district director Pastor Kevin Pais and supported by Morobe Mission, the event took place at the Menyamya Seventh-day Adventist Church grounds.

Delegates included pastors, elders, deacons, youth leaders, women’s ministry leaders and departmental heads. Special emphasis was placed on discipleship, church growth and fostering unity among church members.

The training was facilitated by experienced speakers and church administrators, who shared insights on servant leadership, time management, conflict resolution and evangelism strategies. Practical activities such as group work and scenario-based discussions allowed participants to apply what they learned in real-life situations.

The event concluded with a dedication service where leaders recommitted themselves to God’s work in their respective areas. The training was well received, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to grow spiritually and professionally. It marked a significant step forward in strengthening leadership within the Menyamya District and enhancing the mission of the church in the region.
