Adventist Heritage at Cooranbong (North NSW) has recently been hosting a staff member from Pacific Adventist University (PAU), Papua New Guinea.

Geena Iga, who works as a library assistant in the heritage and archives section at PAU, has been learning from Dr Jillian Thiele, processor of personal collections for Adventist Heritage.

“I’ve been learning how to process the personal collections,” Ms Iga said. “I’ve learned how the archives files have been filed downstairs. I’ve also learned how to process a register for the cassettes and the audios.”

Ms Iga said she has enjoyed spending 10 days with the Adventist Heritage team.

“It’s been fantastic, I’ve learned a lot,” she said. “Little things that I’ve picked up can make a difference when I go back [to PAU] and I look forward to that.”
