A team of eight students from Wahroonga Adventist School (WAS) has placed first in mathematics and chess at the da Vinci Decathlon.

Wahroonga Adventist School is proud of the way our students have represented our school. We selected our team not just for academic excellence but because they were team players.

The NSW statewide event, held at Knox Grammar School, is an academic competition intended to challenge and stimulate young students. This year, 125 teams participated in the competition.

“Wahroonga Adventist School is proud of the way our students have represented our school,” said Bronwyn Goodwin, head of the Middle School. “We selected our team not just for academic excellence but because they were team players.”

Students received a special certificate to commemorate their achievement.
