Record’s best of 2015

What a big year 2015 has been. From the General Conference session to all the personnel changes in key positions around the Church, 2015 has been an exciting year. Adventist Record has gone back through the archives to see what the top rating online stories were for this year, to see some of the high and lowlights and to see what got our readers interested.

And it seems that the General Conference (GC) session was the biggest event this year, with the GC Blog wracking up the most hits for an individual page on our website. To relive the journey of GC, click HERE.

The most popular editorial was related to the General Conference as well, with James Standish’s “Thoughts” editorial generating a lot of conversation and letters.

The next most popular online article regarded the South Pacific Division’s statement on the ordination vote, another topic that has generated much debate and discussion this year.

Some other popular news stories include:

South Pacific Division affirms women in ministry

New leaders named for SPD unions

Jorge Munoz named AUC president

SPD departments merge into Discipleship Ministries

Most popular features:

Not-so-perfect cuppa

Is wine fine?

Was Ellen White right?

Most viewed editorials:

Six years

We’ve got lots of exciting things planned for 2016 (and many exciting things that haven’t been planned yet) and look forward to providing your Church news again in the New Year. We’ll see you then!
