Researchers at Victoria University’s College of Health and Biomedicine in Melbourne are conducting a study on whether yeast-based products such as Marmite (produced by Sanitarium) help improve mood and stress levels.

Individuals participating in the study will be asked up to 94 questions in an online survey. Their answers will then be analysed and reported, which will help in gauging the possible impact of yeast-based products and their vitamin additives, such as B12, in preventing anxiety and depression.
