Sanctuary Sanitarium has just celebrated its first anniversary as well as being recognised for it’s commitment to quality and safety.

Sanctuary was launched by Australian food company, Sanitarium and the fact that accreditation was granted only after 10 months since opening its doors is a significant achievement; a likely first for Australia.
The philosophy at Sanctuary is centred on caring for the whole person—their physical health, emotions, relationships, connection with the community and environment, spirituality, sense of meaning, purpose and hope in life.

“Since we’re new, we were already committed to setting up processes and procedures. We figured it was an ideal time to do it well to achieve and even go beyond the benchmark,” said Brenda Rea, group manager for Sanctuary Sanitarium. I’m proud of my team who shared the vision to accomplish this wonderful result.

Turning one is a major milestone for Sanctuary. In this time, over 2000 people have visited the waterfront premises in Pyrmont, Sydney. Many of the clients have come for repeat and/or referral services with the average client visiting over four times.

Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company is proud of its Australian heritage and the contribution it continues to make to the Australian community.

Brenda Rea said, “Our clients appreciate that we really do care for them. Their feedback about their experience is extremely positive which is why nearly a third of our clients come through word of mouth.”

Sanctuary Sanitarium’s future is certainly bright with these great achievements.

Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company is proud of its Australian heritage and the contribution it continues to make to the Australian community.
