Living Ministry Media (LMM) has just signed a two-year contract with Channel 44, an Adelaide-community digital TV station. LMM is a lay run not-for-profit Christian production house managed by volunteers.
Channel 44 went digital in November 2010 and has an increasing audience, currently in excess of 300,000 viewers in Adelaide.

LMM started four years ago and now has a team of 23 trained technical staff. Andrew Ganczarczyk, director of LMM says he started producing programs 13 years ago. “I saw an opportunity to film and produce programs for the Seventh-day Adventist church around Adelaide in South Australia,” he said.

The new contract will allow LMM to broadcast every Monday night commencing April 4, from 9.30pm to 10.30pm on Channel 44. “The South Australian Conference is starting a major evangelistic event soon, this will mean thousands of people from around Adelaide will get a chance to watch the series in the comfort of their own homes,” said Mr Ganczarczyk.
The timing could not have been better for LMM and the Church in South Australia. Teams of pastors and volunteers from the South Australian Conference have been planning Mission 2011 with Pastor Gary Webster from the Adventist Media Network in Sydney. Mission 2011 will run from May 13 to June 12 from different venues around Adelaide.
“This is truly God’s power at work, said Mr Ganczarczyk. “To be able to obtain this airtime, just before a major evangelistic event isn’t just a coincidence or pure luck. It’s God working and preparing the way for mass communication for the Seventh-day Adventist message.”
